- HHDerm Cream is a combination of three medicines: Clotrimazole, Fusidic Acid and Mometasone which treat skin infections. Clotrimazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Fusidic Acid is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Mometasone is a steroid medicine which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy.
