Description:
Silverex Ionic gel is used topically to treat wounds, ulcers and burns. It contains silver nitrate which acts as an anti-inflammatory and best component for wound healing as it is also a powerful antibacterial agent maintaining microbe-free, moist wound healing environment.
Uses / Indications: Silverex Ionic is used in the management of burns, pressure ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, diabetic ulcers, abrasions, lacerations, skin tears, grafted wounds, donor sites and surgical wounds. Its is also used in management of minor abrasions, cuts, lacerations and scalds.

- Silver is a broad spectrum antimicrobial agent that controls yeast,mold and bacteria, when provided at an appropriate concentration.Silver Nitrate is the standard and most popular silver salt for topical burn wound therapy. As a metal, Silver is very poorly absorbed in mammalian cell but in presence of wound fluids and other secretions, it readily ionizes and becomes high reactive to proteins and binds to cell membranes resulting in denaturation and inactivation of proteins of microbial cell membrane.
