Description: Ketsal Lotion is a combination of ketoconazole and salicylic acid used to treat psoriasis, control dandruff and other dry, scaly skin conditions.
Uses / Indications: Ketsal is used to treat a skin condition known as pityriasis (tinea versicolor), a fungal infection that causes a lightening or darkening of the skin of the neck, chest, arms, or legs. Control dandruff and treats psoriasis

- Ketoconazole, Salicylic Acid
- Pregnancy interaction:
- Ketoconazole and salicyclic acid scalp solution is not absorbed through the skin after topical application, pregnancy is not a contradiction for the use of Arcolane Scalp Solution 2%

- Avoid direct contact of solution with your eyes. In case of direct contact, wash your eyes with water immediately and seek immediate medical attention. - Ketoconazole is an azole antifungal that works by preventing the growth of fungus and Salicylic acid causes the skin to shed dead cells from its top layer by increasing the amount of moisture in the skin and dissolving the substance that makes the cells clump together. This effect makes it easier to shed the skin cells, softens the top layer of skin, and decreases scaling and dryness.
