Uses / Indications: Ketsal is used to treat a skin condition known as pityriasis (tinea versicolor), a fungal infection that causes a lightening or darkening of the skin of the neck, chest, arms, or legs. Control dandruff and treats psoriasis

Product composition:
• Ketoconazole, Salicylic Acid

Pregnancy interaction:
• Ketoconazole and salicyclic acid scalp solution is not absorbed through the skin after topical application, pregnancy is not a contradiction for the use of Arcolane Scalp Solution 2%

Expert advice:
• Avoid direct contact of solution with your eyes. In case of direct contact, wash your eyes with water immediately and seek immediate medical attention. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding. It should not take if patient is allergic to ketoconazole or any of its ingredients.

Side Effects:
• A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of a serious allergic reaction may include: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.

How to use:
• Wet Hair/Scalp, affected skin, apply on the affected area. wait for one minute and rinse.

How it works:
• Ketoconazole is an azole antifungal that works by preventing the growth of fungus and Salicylic acid causes the skin to shed dead cells from its top layer by increasing the amount of moisture in the skin and dissolving the substance that makes the cells clump together. This effect makes it easier to shed the skin cells, softens the top layer of skin, and decreases scaling and dryness.
